Legit the best authentic Mexican food I've had in a while.

    And the service was incredible.

Is you like authentic food in a tiny hole in the wall vibe, GO HERE.

    You won't be disappointed.

Cash only, limited street parking, tasty, legit tacos! Seems family-owned and operated (sometimes there's a playpen for owner's(?) Kids, so it can get a little loud. This place does have a lot of charm and authenticity I'd normally associate with Cherokee Street, although it does have a dive vibe.

Don't be afraid to try a protein on a taco you don't recognize. They have a great variety! Tacos come with a healthy amount of protein, etc. I love the salsas that comes with the chips. I have been several times, and love it enough to compare to El Bronco, La Vallesana, El Torito, etc. on Cherokee

Came in around 8pm excited to try out a new Mexican place. But when the bf and I walked in, literally everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at us. Not one person spoke. There were kids and an older woman behind the counter and a guy at the bar. We walked up to the counter and still no one spoke. A younger woman walked up from behind the bar and I asked if in Spanish I could see the menu, since I wasn't sure if that was the reason for the stark silence all around. We looked at the menu, and still no one spoke or seemed to indicate we were welcome or asked if we wanted a table or anything like that. A little sad, because I wanted to try the food, but didn't really feel like we were welcome to do that here. Maybe I'll do a call in order?

I was looking for some authentic Mexican restaurant and I'm glad that I found this one. I knew it as soon as I walked in. Packed with
Mexicans which is a good sign that it's going to be authentic.I was watching a food ranger YouTube show and came across cemita and I found out that they are serving cemitas. I tried  chicken cemitas and al pastor tacos and liked them. Will definitely go back.
